Hear the chanting "Grab a hammer Smash the system Overthrow Status quo Dire problems Must be met with Strong solutions Cannot wait Stakes too great" Prescribe these magic pills A cure for all our ills An opportunity To live in harmony Our honest hearts are often fed To packs of vicious carnivores I'd gladly keep the devil I know Than mess around with Ouija boards Stop promising me greener grass That no one's even seen before No way I'd trust invisible clothes Belonging to the emperor Don't worship the emperor And his false promises of hope That paradise is simply Oppression served another way I will resist you tyrants Your fear will not intimidate Me
2.
At the altar motionless to pine for those who died A sad attempt to breathe back life into the mummified A revised history that I can’t understand You can't see my monument with your head so far in the sand Find a burial place that's deep and dark and secluded Frantically grasp your losses, leaving none excluded Your deepest fears of moving on are getting out of hand Surely bound to suffocate with your head so far in the sand

Certain you know what should be Laughing condescendingly Feel righteous and cool As you mock the poor fools But I challenge you to see Hatred for the groups of men Whose worldviews you don’t comprehend Give it a rest Until you pass the test I’ll be waiting for you then Ever think you might be wrong? That you were the stubborn one all along? If your beliefs weren't true How would you go see this through? You’ll have to fight another way Than bashing things I didn’t say When you bait and switch I can tell which is which Those tricks won’t work today Lest you think I’m just here to boast I’m the one who needs this advice the most No way to ascend to the highest When your legs are weighed down by your bias Black and white have no place today Let’s unbind ourselves to see shades of grey I don't want to be paralyzed Just be unafraid what the truth implies Take the time to see this all straight Promise you I’ll reciprocate We strive to know what should be But proceed ever cautiously We have all the tools To admit when we’re fools And challenge when we see A lack of charity Keep my mind open and free

This little piggy wants no strings attached To be self empowered to be treated like trash This little piggy watches hierarchies plummet Just to rebuild them up with herself at the summit This little piggy ran off in a hurry Unable to hear the voice of Charles Murray These little piggies will beat you down while they preach That your speech is violence, while their violence just speech This little piggy wants to amplify voices But shush Uncle Toms who didn’t make the right choices This little piggy is a warrior, not scared To fight on the frontlines with each article shared This little piggy won't stand up to defend you While he's comfortably last on the crocodile’s menu This little piggy has no god in the sky But will dine with no devils who dare to ask why

Always harder to say no When showing just how hard you’ll go Ought to be the source of fun Did I just pour another one? I won’t stop Fill me right on up there to the top I won’t stop Gonna keep on going til I drop It’s my night Gotta do this party right And I won’t stop I won't stop Tequila Sunrise starts my day Wouldn’t choose another way If I wake up with regret By half past nine I’ll soon forget This fabulous life that I have made Is going strong and will not fade You’ll never get me to admit It’s not by choice that I don’t quit This fabulous life that I have made Is going strong and will not fade But if I die during the night That outcome might be quite alright I can’t stop My whole life’s over the top I can't stop So I just keep praying that I drop Not alright But I don’t know how to fight I can’t stop I can't stop You can't regret what you forget

Stray Dogs 04:06
It's a quarter past 8 A stray dog's at the gate Looks like he's been out in the rain The least you can do Is spare a minute or two Just to be the slightest bit humane He ain't gonna bite Or follow you all night Don't even try to turn a blind eye So scratch his ears real nice And give a bone or a slice Of meat before you tell him goodbye Let’s let him stay Let’s tell him yes Let's take him in Let's build him up A stray dog on the green Around 8:15 He's asking for a minute of time That poor little pup Is just setting you up Trying to con you outta a dime Don't give him a bone When he can go get his own Can't fall for the wide puppy eyes That lazy pooch Is nothing more than a mooch A mistake to try to sympathize Let’s make him go Let’s tell him no Let's keep him out Let's put him down Let’s let him stay Let’s make him go Let’s tell him yes Let’s tell him no Let's take him in Let's keep him out Let's build him up Let's put him down

OB on the mic in case you went and forgot I run P214 whether you like it or not I'm coming out to get you packing heat on this verse Went from 574 to 919, now in 214 reversed Five years ago when Technobabble was through I rested, done doing what I needed to do But like Vesuvius the Project hadn’t quite gone away Just patiently waiting to make it rain on Pompeii Nothing in mind for another release Until a spark ignited from the Borges piece And it struck me hard; a lightning bolt in the back: Each class in the Emporium could be its own track Strikingly simple; the only thing it required Was to take 14 titles and write the songs they inspired Could this be the answer? Had to go where it led With a hopeful bout of nerves as to what lay ahead So I moved little by little, climbing inch by inch Writing slow but steady ‘til the title was clinched With each new idea getting bigger and bolder Proving all the skeptics wrong like Fox Mulder Baroque, pop, latin, and prog at one table Glued with electronics to keep them all stable You don't have to enjoy 'em, but you gotta respect 'em Who else is being you sounds from all across the spectrum? If you can’t pay attention let me spell out this feat I sampled the 13 other songs to make this one’s beat They say nerds can’t rap, but gather ‘round for the show Stronger than ever, you think you're better? come back when you know quintuplet flow I’ll take on any one of you chumps I’ll be Jackie O. watching your defeated head slump So keep your mouth shut if this made you all mad Betas call for a recount when they ain't hanging with Chads Do you feel included now? Shout out to my friends with their generous spirits Bringing this music to life so you can finally hear it My former bandmates putting their skills on display Like the powerful voices of Jed and Renae Blazer and Bao earning their just rewards No notes out of key when they’re behind the ‘boards And sticking with me from South Side to Squirrel Hill Is the middle Zitelli firing licks that could kill I got my three muses: Mike T, Gilder, and Kevin Reigning me in when I turn it up past eleven My producer, Big Mo, is last but not least Promo Sound bringing your ears the most decadent feast He’s launching attacks, whether he’s playing his axe Or mixing it to the max on every one of these tracks So thank you so much for joining this fight Happy 214 to all and to all a good night

I put a daily smile on Behind this face, the human’s gone Nothing but a blank facade I don’t need you, I am my god Manipulate my grand designs They won't be benign I’m shaking And you would be too Straight shaking If you only knew the things I knew The awful things I have enjoyed Like gazes back from in the void And dreaming of my deep desire To calmly watch the world on fire Where did this all originate? It's probably too late

I have a small apartment in the hip part of town With plenty of room to binge the best shows around Participation trophies piled high on my shelves My parents needed ways to not feel bad 'bout themselves I get a Tinder match at least once a week But marriage and kids are for those Jesus freaks They shove their morality down our throats Can’t wait til they die so they can no longer vote I’m following my dreams It’s as hard as it seems But I'll be fulfilled some day It always works out that way Those dumb advertisers don't know how I behave So Applebee's and driving lie in shallow graves They just don't understand the things that matter the most You have your house, I have my avocado toast Plus Lollapalooza and a brewery tour A chill Uber driver, who could ask for much more? I'm ready to snap it all and pour out my heart Just for you to watch it while we're 10 feet apart

Goodhart was right: you said you’d love me tender Right until the Darwinian impulse took hold Your self serving mirage of self importance Is a twice daily opiate blood rush Promising what's in store When I get through the door Another one and still more With power unlike before I'm just gonna ignore What you claim this is for I won't bow down on the floor To honor your rotten core Bang! Bang! Take cover! Take cover! Bang! Bang! Take cover! Take cover! Hiding your china won’t stop this bull Increase supplication rituals to meet quarterly goals Hold throats shut to keep the brand on message Forced internment is a prime networking opportunity Cause carnal blockchain transactions sure do boost morale From the best I've surmised Catering to the unwise Is your idea of a prize You institutionalize All the things I despise Can't say I'm too surprised A visage built upon lies Is just a feeble disguise

Discerning The many paths that lead out of here And burning For answers to suddenly appear Spend the night in a cold sweat Over things you can’t see yet If you look off in the distance To see swarming, clouded skies Would you trek on in resistance? Would you stand there paralyzed? Yeah, yeah Just cross that bridge when you get there Yeah, yeah Don’t let worries set it ablaze Arms open wide So your eyes can stay closed Let it inside To float on unopposed Resilient In spite of challenges that we faced While brilliant And intricate plans are laid to waste Living free from confusion Your control’s an illusion If you looked back and reflected On the things that came and went Would you find them unexpected? Would you deem them heaven sent?
